The link below is a picture of a tattoo. I am not sure of which language the characters are but I was hoping you could help tell me what they mean. Thank you very much :)

Hello, John,

These are Traditional Chinese characters. The word on your left hand side means "dead" (it is pronounced like "say"). The word on your right hand side means "alive" (it is pronounced like "saang").
