Question

Translate please
Could you please translate that for me what it means, in English and Chinese? Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hallo, Fabian,

Thank you for your question.

The word 慧 in Pinyin is "huì". By itself, the word means "intelligent", "wise". When used as "智慧", it means "wisdom".

The word 芝 in Pinyin is "zhī". By itself the means "a kind of purplish fungus symbolizing nobility"; as in "靈芝"(Pinyin: "língzhī")[Chinese Medicine] glossy ganoderma; Ganoderma lucidum. The word 芝 is more frequently used as "芝麻"(Pinyin: "zhīma") Sesamine; "芝加哥"(Pinyin: "zhī jiā gē") Chicago, USA.

I think the words 慧芝 "huì zhī" (intelligent and noble) as seen in the image that you provided is the name of the author/painter of a Chinese article/water painting and, most likely, a lady.

I hope you'll find the above helpful.
