Hi,
I'm currently playing a WWII wargame, and loathe the artificial music-score. Like many others, I have chosen, instead, to use songs from World War 2 from many nations. Unfortunately, while I've been able to get hold of Chinese Communist songs froma website devoted to old Communist songs, despite not knowing any Chinese words, I still haven't found any songs made by the Chinese Nationalists under Chiang-Kai-Shek. Do you know of any websites which allow people to download, for free, any mp3 files of Chinese Nationalist songs of that period. I'd also be interested in any songs produced by Chiang-Kai-Shek's government-in-exile in Taiwan- especially any ones sung in praise of Chiang-Kai-Shek himself.Also, any similiar websites offering traditional Chinese folk-songs from before the WWII-era would be most appreciated.

Dear Geoff,

Sorry for my late in response.

I spent sometime looking for the folk songs you mentioned, but all in vain.

It's hard to find any songs of that period, specially produced by Chiang-Kai Shek.
