Question
I have two nieces adopted from China.  The first was from the Guandong Province and her name was Mao Huan Qing.  The second was from Jiangxi Province and her name was Ling Wu Xin.  Can you please tell me what they mean?

Answer
Dear Cassondra,

Thank you for posting. But it's hard to tell what a character mean just by its spelling. For example "Qing" in "Mao Huan Qing", if there is no tone(there are 4 tones in Chinese), then i can at least give you 10 different meanings. So it's better you give me the characters of their names instead of the spelling.

Best wishes,

Shannon
