Chinese Cuisine/fan tuan

Question
When I visited my mother's family in Taiwan, there was a breakfast item called fan tuan that I used to buy in the market every morning.  It's a big rice ball with sushi-type fillings: egg, ro song, maybe taku-ang (Japanese pickled radish), and I can't remember what else because it's been so long.  It seems like it would be relatively easy to make but I can't seem to find anywhere online instructions on how to make it.  Any hints on where to look?
