Question
What are those almost black narrow very hot things called that are sometimes in chinese food?  Are they some kind of pepper? Once I bit into one and it was so hot I couldn't eat the rest of my food. Thank you

yes, it's very hot even it's too hot for me. you might be wondering why it's black color not red what happen is your cook has his fire too hot and burn that sucker so that's why it turn black
your solution? tell them no chilly pepper next time hope this help Lee!!!!!!!!!1
