Chinese Cuisine/Orange chicken.

QuestionQUESTION: I love both orange and sesame chicken. What is the nutrition information for this items? I would imagine somewhat high sodium, but the sauces do seem rather thick so I would assume a bit fatty as well? I think those use dark meat chicken? Can white meat chicken also be used? And since we're on the topic of contents, how does chinese food in America differ from more authentic Chinese food? Maybe there are some Chinese restaurants in the U.S. that make authentic Chinese?
ANSWER: Mr. James! thi is Chef Wu how r u sir?? please forgive me for not knowing the nutrition info on Orange and Sesame chicken, those suace has corn starch so yeh its little fatten. you can try white meat chicken
on Ornage and sesame chicken but its kinda tough because dark meat has little fat and it taste better.

QUESTION: You answered most of my questions. Do you know by chance of any authentic Chinese places around Buffalo, NY? We don't have a "China town" like many larger cities do so that might answer the question right there. Honestly I've come to think of Chinese food as being a commonly fried type of food. Personally I try to avoid anything fried if I can. I don't know how I would approach a Chinese family that owns a Chinese restaurant and ask them if the food there is authentic without sounding insulting. You think dark meat chicken tastes better? I think white meat chicken is healthier. A friend who worked at KFC said that dark meat chicken fried is especially bad to ones health. I don't suppose I could find a low fat version of orange and sesame chicken recipes? Also you mention in your profile that the Chinese don't actually eat household pets? So they don't eat cat or anything that in American anyway would be kept as a pet?
ANSWER: hello James! how r u again, how far you from NYC?? if you want you can drive there and go to chinatown
there should be alot of authenic chinese food. you start looking for either a Hong Kong dim sum place or Taiwan cusines that's where I'am from. if u don't know what to order just ask the server what's their
most authenic chinese dishes that they serve but make sure you find a server that speak english well otherwise they will look confuse okay? now you are rright about dark meat fried is not good I agree too
I just giving you my opionions that's all. now I know about where American's get the idea that we eat dog or cat is because I think National Geography channel film in China once and they saw a man was killing a Pet so that's what happen. I know about this I have to endures the prank phones call that I get from stupid folks that ask me do I sell dog or cat in my restaurant countless time but what can I do right?? but like I say in my profile cats or Dogs are for home pets end of story!
JAMES take care my friend nice talking to you!

QUESTION: Just one more followup because I live a good 9 hours away from NYC. I guess you're not familar with Buffalo. lol. We're at the other end of the state as the second largest city in the state. So I should assume you don't know of any authentic Chinese in this area by looking it up in a directory of some kind that tells what is authentic and what is more commercial? I personally like China Panda which is in my local mall.
AnswerJames! if Buffalo is second largest City in Big Apple then it should have a authenic chinese restaurant
pick up your phone book look under restaurant and see any chinese restaurant that serves Dim Sum
and try there first. hope this Help Jim!
