Question
Hi, I have a few chinese recipes
and so many of them have "starch"
as an ingredient.  Perhaps it is
because I am from Australia and
we use different terms for different things
here.  But I'm not too sure what
starch is.  Would it be the same as
cornflour?  cornflour here in australia
is rather starchy and it is used as
a thickener.

I hope you can help me
see u later
thank u

Answer
Dear Tammi!

hello Mate. this is Chef Louis here, Starch in the US is the exact same thing as the cornflour the you have down under. and I know it's little thicker then the strach
so when you prepare your chinese food at home use little less then what the recipes calls for I hope that have answer your questions take care yourself!!!!!!!!!
