Good Morning,
I have found countless recipes for Egg Drop Soup, but none give the secret to the thick yellow broth of the egg drop soup offered in many Chinese restaurants. Any idea how that's achieved? Thanks!!

Chef Louis here! sorry it take me 3 day to get back to you
I have been very busy with my own restaurant!
lets find a answer to your question. when you make egg drop soup what make the soup yellow coloring is we use
yellow food color that you can find in  your local chinese
grocery store and we use corn starch to thicken our soup
but becareful don't pour too much yellow color it will be too yellowish and you don't want that!
