Question
Hi there!  What made you interested in the field of chiropractics?  How long have you been in chiropractics? What kind of schooling did you have to do?  What is the coolest thing you have done on the job?
Thanks for your time!

Answer
Mandy,

First, "chiropractics" is not a proper word... the profession is called chiropractic, and the doctor is called a chiropractor or Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.). Like the word pharmaceutical, it is used both as an adjective (e.g. chiropractic profession) and as a noun. In some states, the chiropractor may use the title Chiropractic Physician.

As my background information states, I've practiced chiropractic for 10 years.

For information on chiropractic school and training, I refer you to the websites of New York Chiropractic College, where I went to chiropractic school, and The Chiropractic Report, a peer-reviewed chiropractic journal:

The most rewarding aspect of having practiced for 10 years was the opportunity to participate as a member of my patients' health care team. Currently, I'm in medical school pursuing an M.D. degree, and I'm building upon the knowledge and experience I gained as a D.C. My goal is to practice both chiropractic and family practice medicine in the future.
