Chiropractors/Neck Pain

Question
I have neck pain and tension.  I saw a chiropractor.  He adjusted my neck.  I was paying for the service and notice my voice had changed, deeper and raspy.  It was followed by a soar throat which I have now had for 2nd day.  Can you tell me is this normal reaction and why this would occur? Thank you

Answer
First, I would like to apologize for the tardiness of my reply.  It sounds as if it may have coincidentally been a sore throat coming on.  Or, the air in his/her office was dry or had an irritant in it.  In any case, if there is no change in a few days, check with your family doctor to have it checked.  In the mean time, try gargling with salt water to see if it eases.
