Question
Hi...I've been going to physical therapy for a radial head fracture (happened 8/29/08) 2x per week and recently started getting adjusted by the chiro in the same day (2x/week) for my neck and back. I am currently in the 2 week wait of trying to conceive- do you think getting the adjustments are safe during ths time or could they possible affect implantation/fertilization/etc?

Any help u can give me is appreciated!

TIA

Answer
Hi Meredith,

It is very save to get adjusted.   There is no known correlation between getting adjusted and fertilization or implantation.  If anything, there's speculation that it could help.  Nobody knows.  There's simply no research on the topic.  I'd suggest continuing with your neck/back treatment.

Best regards,
