Chiropractors/reverse curve in neck and curvature of spine

Question
I just started seeing a chiropractor for the first time last week. The x rays that he took showed that I have a reverse curve in my neck making it look like a C. and my spine curves out to the left and back again. He feels that with regular visits it can be somewhat corrected. I have lots of pain and numbness as well as a lypoma in my lower back. I am wondering if there is something else I should be doing to help speed up the reversal process. Also, I read in several things that this problem can sometimes be associated with MS and my mother has MS. Is this a common thing with MS or uncommon?

Answer
Right now, the best thing to do is follow what your chiropractor is doing.  He identified the mechanical problem, and has set on a path of correction.  That should include, adjusting, addressing any muscular issues, and working you into a rehab. program to strengthen the area in question.  As far as is it being related to MS:  What you have and describe is fairly common, so someone with or without MS could or could not have it!!!   Good luck in having your spine worked towards correction!!
