QUESTION: I have been suffering with right shoulder pain and neck stiffness for nearly a year now and initially this was thought to be a rotator cuff tear.This has since been ruled out by ultrasound scan and I have been referred
for physiotherapy.  I have since developed lower back pain and all overback 'stiffness'' in that the muscles feel tender when touched and constantly tight, I feel tired all of the time and excerise seems to make everything worse.  I have been given accupuncture by my physiotherapist which I found really painful which I am told it is not usually.  I have now noticed a tingling sensation in between
my shoulder blades and down the right side of my back.  My physio says it is non specific pain - is this the case and is there anything I can do to ease the symptoms?



ANSWER: Since the Brainstem is Houston Control for the entire body, you would want to see as Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic.  If there is a subluxation in the upper cervical spine that is obstructing the mental impulse than any condition may result.  If you send me your town, state and nearest big city to you, I can find you a qualified doctor that should be able to help you.
