Question QUESTION: Hi i wanted to know how long does a muscle sprain heel? I had went to the doctors and he said to me it was a muscle sprain i have to put ice on it, take advil and stretch it out...Well i had stopped doing that and i walk funny and i walk crooked because when i put pressure on my left leg it hurts because the pain goes from the back of my thigh to where my knee is.I wanted to know is it a disk or does if have to do with the muscles?.
ANSWER: Stefania,
If it is a muscle sprain, then you need to rest that muscle as much as possible for a good two weeks. And even then, you want to ease your way back into activity again. You do not want to re-aggravate the problem, so you have to listen to your body with this. Are you an athlete? How did you injure yourself? It is very likely that you have a spinal subluxation as well that would leave you more susceptible to injury now and in the future. Making sure that your foundation is solid and stable is of the utmost importance and can only be achieved by getting under specific chiropractic care.
Tell me more about yourself and your injury so I can elaborate further on this.

QUESTION: Thank you so much.I dance alot and i must of pulled something like this isn't the first because when it happened the first time it only lasted a week and then i went back to dancing and it happened again and i must of hurt it pretty bad because now its a couple of months my leg is like this and the doctor said its a muscle strain he felt it and he said its stiff and even when i walk it feels stiff and the pain isn't as bad like before... And i was putting heat on it before and i was not suppose to i had to put ice on it and i had done it and then stopped. Now im staring to put the ice back on...
ANSWER: The best healing involves rest and time off from your activity. Usually athletes and performers do not or cannot rest properly and so they end up injuring it over and over again, and usually end up with surgery, which never gets you well. I would recommend rest along with upper cervical chiropractic care to allow the brain and the body to communicate properly and offer the most efficient method of healing.
If you are interestd in what I am suggesting to you, please send me your town and state, along with the nearest big city to you so I could find you a qualified doctor to help you. This is something that can help you for the rest of your life and should looked into at once.

QUESTION: Thank you so much, yes I'm interested i live in Canada Bolton Ontario. I also wanted to know if you can help me on something else if you can, I had been wearing heavy earrings and it had stretched my hole and now it teared it didn't bleed or anything. This happened to my sister also and i wanted to know do i have to get snitches if so do some doctor offices do them? or just let it heel on its own and not touch it.Because my sister had left it alone and it had heeled and she had to do another hole.
Answer Stefania,
Here are a few doctors in Ontario. You will have to excuse me, I do not know of any Upper Cervical Specific Doctors in Ontario, but I was able to locate a few for you. I do not know these doctors personally, but you just want to be sure that they do not adjust you on every visit, and that they use some sort of instrumentation to determine if there is nervous system interference or not. As far as the ear ring thing, I think that you should leave it alone, unless you think there is reason to see someone, and then that would be your medical doctor. Good luck to you and Best in Health,
