Chiropractors/Lower back pain
Expert: Robert A. Arnone, DC - 3/12/2008
QuestionDear Sir
I am having a lower back pain that doesn't go away. The pain is felt on the left hand side lower back. The pain only occurs if I sleep(lying) on my left hand side. It happens everytime I sleep on my left hand side. When I wake up the pain will still be there. It will later fade away after 1 to 2 hour after I wake up. Sometimes I wake up at night because I cannot take the pain.
What could be the cause of this? What can I do to?
Regards,
Michael
AnswerMichael,
It sounds to me like you have an injury possibly in the lower back area where you are experiencing the pain, or you have a misalignment in the spine itself. What I would suggest to you is to go to a Doctor of Chiropractic that specializes solely in the detection and correction of the vertebral subluxation(VS). The VS is a misaligned spinal vertebra that interferes with the mental impulse and can cause any number of internal health problems including pain.
If you have a good doctor of chiropractic near to where you live or work, then I suggest you pay that doctor a visit and get evaluated to find out more about the problem. It would be good practice for this doctor to take X-Rays of the spine before any sort of correction is applied.
If you need help in locating a qualified doctor in your area, just send me your town and state and I will get back to you shortly.
