Question
Hello, I am 16 years old. Sometimes when I turn my neck cracks and my toes go numb for a few seconds. When it cracks it is extremely loud and cracks many times in one turn. I also have a lot of pain in my neck at all times, but especially when i try to lean my head backwards. At late I've been getting only what I describe as a headache in the back of my head and upper neck. I've gone to the doctors and got x-rays of my neck and he said theres nothing unusual except that I have bone spurring which i understand is pretty unusual for my age. Please help, much appreciated.

Answer
Chris,
You need to go to an Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic.  This is the person who will take x-rays and show you your problem and actually correct it.  I am hoping that you are not too far from watertown.  My good friends and cooleagues have a clinic there and they can help you.  The practice is called Trevins Specific Chiropractic and you would want to see either Dr Bill Trevins or Dr Bryan Wright.  You can tell them that I sent you.
