Question
I am experiencing numbness in my right big toe, Knowing that i fractured it few years back. the numbness and swelling get worse at the end of the day when i finish my teaching job. What could be the cause?

Answer
If the fracture didn't quite heal or heal right, by the end of the day, inflammation is setting in and may be squeezing the nerve.  You may want to have it x rayed to make sure it has healed correctly, and if not, you can check with your family doc to see what your options are.
