Answer
Hello Megan.  You do not mention your age, and how long ago the MVA's, and prior testing/ DX available.

What doctors have you seen?  MRI's? Diagnoses, treatments?

The older you are, the more complicated healing is.  Herniated Discs- HNPs?, Osteoarthritis (degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint disease) , prior treatment regimen?  Hopefully after each accident/ injury you were seen and treated by your family Doctor of Chiropractic.   If not your family DC, then at least seen by your MD and treated by the local physical therapist.  Of course, as a Doctor of Chiropractic, I am biased towards Chiropractic Treatment for Spinal Complaints.  This Staten Island Chiropractor sees a lot of automobile accident injuries- we are overcrowded with too much traffic!

Each injury compounds the previous injury.  Age and degeneration take place over time.  The younger you are, the easier it is to recover.  The sooner you get to the spine specialist; your family Doctor of Chiropractic, the better.  Adjustment, if indicated, will lessen the mis-alignments in the spinal joints and slow the progression of degeneration.  Nutrition such as glucosamine, chondroitin to repair joints, b-complex for nerves, proteolytic enzymes as anti-inflammatories; all of these will help.

Sleep on your back or side with a cervical orthopedic support pillow.
practice proper postures and movement patterns.

I would recommend- your local family Doctor of Chiropractic, x-rays, MRI, nutrition as above, a regimen of care to restore proper alignment and movement to the joints and hopefully slow deterioration.

I hope this helps, good luck.

Wishing you- Good Health, Naturally!
