Question
Can a chiropractor help tennis elbow? I am a golfer and injured my arm last fall. After two months of pain, I saw a M.D. who gave me a steroid shot at the first of January. The pain went away, I modified my swing and thought everything was getting better. But now, the pain is back with a vengeance! It's worse now than ever before, and even wakes me up at night. If I could go back, I don't think I would have taken the shot. Any thoughts?

Answer
A chiropractor can usually help.  If you can find one geared towards sports and rehab., all the better.  Tennis elbow is just a term for tendonitis.  Treatments that work well are electric stim, ultrasound, myofascial release, and low level laser.  Misalignment should be checked for in the elbow and wrist, and a good rehab program instituted.
