Question
i have suffered from a bad lower back for a while,

i believe i had sciatica and it has gradually gone away.

i know have a different sort of pain in my lower back. it is just in my lower back.  it is like a dull ache and sort of feels like a pulled muscle. it is also very stiff at times.  it hurts to twist and bend also.

i am a very active person, i play rugby and go to the gym and don't really want typo stop trainnigg if possible.

do you have any idea what it could be? and what trreatmets r there?

Answer
Postural muscles (core muscles) when tight, can restrict your movement as you have described, and could have initially been the instigators of your sciatica.  You may want to have a good chiropractor evaluate you for treatment, and a good rehab. program.
