Chiropractors/sciatic pain

Question
For the past two months, I have been experiencing much of the symptoms that are related to sciatic nerve pain. Two visits to two different doctors have pretty much confirmed this also. Both have prescribed the medication diclofenac and novo cylcloprine.  These don't seem to be doing much good.. Do you think I should try physiotherapy or a good chiropractor?

Answer
Hello Douglas,

Sciatic pain can be caused by impingement on the sciatic nerve or stemming from the lumbar spine.  Drugs may block the pain or reduce it, but do not resolve the condition.  You may want to see a Doctor of Chiropractic who can diagnose the area of impingement and set a treatment plan to decompress the impingement.

Have a great day,
