Chiropractors/Severe OCD
Expert: Robert A. Arnone, DC - 7/10/2008
QuestionQUESTION: Hello, my 19 year son has been suffering from severe OCD since 13. We've tried various conventional (antidepressant, therapy) and alternative (acupuncture, herbs, Chinese herbs, neuro-supplements, homeopathy, bach flowers, vitamins and minerals, healthy diet, cleansing, etc.), but nothing helped even a little. He also has very bad cystic acne and constipation. I would appreciate any recommendation you can give us as to what we can do to make him better. Thank you!!!
ANSWER: Irina,
Every single thing that you have done up to this point has been directed at the effects rather than the cause. Your son needs to get checked by an Upper Cervical Specific Doctor for a CNS interference. Once that interference is located and measured it then and only then can be corrected. Once corrected, this will allow his nervous system to function normally once again so that the innate intelligence in his body can undo what it had previously done when it was functioning with an interference. The only way to get sick people well is to adjust the obstruction in your son so that he no longer has an obstruction and can get well.
Does that make sense?
I can refer you to a Doctor that is hopefully in your area, but please keep in mind that there are less than 500 of us in the entire world so you may have to travel some for his care.
We have many patients who come from other states for our services and some who even come and stay for a couple of weeks of intensive care and then go back home to continue healing and improving. They then come back in a few months for a 3 day follow up to assure that they are continuing to stay on track and getting well.
Send me your town and state and I will reply within a day with a name or two for you. Nothing is bigger than LIFE.
Yours in Best Health,

QUESTION: Thank you so very much for the information!!! We live in Indianapolis, Indiana. I really appreciate your help and your time. Thanks again!!!
AnswerIrina,
Just glancing at a map and looking up colleagues, I cannot find one doctor in your area. So far the closest ones that I know of are in Bowling Green or Ashland , and that looks sort of far from you.
Give me a couple of days if you would and then write me back so I can reply to you. Hopefully, I will be able to find you someone closer, but right now that is all I have for you.
