Question
one night at soccer trainning, whilst taking shots at goal my groin through to my hip got what seemed like a slight strain. I didnt think to worry at first, but it would not go away only getting worse. The pain starts in the left upper thigh/hip. It feels like the joint between the hip and the upper leg, the pain then spreads down into my groin and tightens my lower back.
Ive had x-rays and my pelvis/hips are tilted left side higher then the other.
ive been seeing a chiropractor and a physio about it but it seems to not mending.
The pain is felt most of the time but is slight, increasing with sport so much as to not being able to run without quite disabling pain.
Restricting me from my full potential sport and personal fitness.
plesae help

Answer
Hello Antonni,

You may want to have a MRI of the hip.  Often x-rays do not show stress fractures and do not show ligament, muscle, or cartilage damage.  This is why MRI's are great for diagnosing the condition.  After the MRI a proper treatment plan can be established to resolve your symptoms.

Have a great day,
