Question
Dear O'Brien, i am 42, a mother of 2 and i work for UPS as a driver, so i get plenty of exercise. my question is my husband is a lot heavier then i am. the nights that i sleep by myself i don't wake with the pain. we have a queen size bed, could the fact the his side of the bed is lower then mine play a part in the back pain. the mattress is a name brand and i have a memory foam topper on it. I try to flip the mattress so it wears well. thank you for your time and in put. have a great day.

Answer
Hello Susan,

It may be the mattress when your husband is sleeping on it (change the angle/depth), you may sleep in a different position too.  You may want to try a king size mattress, that may alleviate your discomfort in the morning.  If your mattress is 10 years old or more it may be wearing out.

Have a great day,
