Answer
Hello Celin,

Good luck on your adventure in India!

As you know, Australia and it's close neighbor- New Zealand have Doctors of Chiropractic.  This Staten Island Chiropractor, born and raised in New York City; went to Davenport Iowa, Palmer College of Chiropractic.  While at Palmer, I had several classmates from Australia and New Zealand who planned upon returning to their birthplace.

The former English Colonies- South Africa, Australia, Rhodesia, New Zealand all have a strong Chiropractic presence- most from Palmer College of Chiropractic (my World Renown alma mater).

I would have expected India to be similar, but it appears not.  I do not have any classmates, colleagues, or chiropractic fraternity Brothers that I know of who are practicing there.

You probably 'google searched' for "Chiropractors in India", and/or Chiropractic in India; this is what I am doing as well.

I wish I could help more than that.

Here are the interesting websites that I found that may be helpful:

http://www.drmodisresort.com/drmodi/default.htm  Manipulative Osteopathy could be similar to Chiropractic.  Naturopaths in the USA are also trained in manipulation.

First chiropractic clinic opens in India
Dr. Amit (Jimmy) Nanda, Indian Association of Chiropractic Doctors (IACD) president, along with Dr. Ricky S. Rana, IACD vice-president, and Dr. Daniel Yen, IACD treasurer, announced the opening of the first chiropractic clinic in India.
This 2,500sq. ft clinic is a state-of-the-art clinic with all the latest equipment and an open rehabilitation space. Other clinics will later be opened in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata.
IACD has also been admitted into World Federation of Chiropractics (WFC) membership.     http://www.chiroeco.com/news/2006/March/India.php

Again,  I wish I knew directly of a classmate or fraternity Brother in India.  Perhaps those links above can be helpful.

Good luck on your trip/ job/ adventure!

Of course I wish you Good Health naturally!
