Question
Dear Dr.Nekessa Remy,
My name is Khusi from Holland. I hope you can help me with my big problem. The problem is that i have genua valga, that means that i don't have straight legs. They bow to the inside like a figure X.
Here in Holland they can't correct my legs by exercise. The only way to have nice straight legs is to cut off my legs and put it back again by operation. Can you help me to have straight legs without an operation? Maybe by doing exercise or to put some sillicone into my knee  that it fill up the knee that it look straigt and not bow inside anymore? i have big physical problems because of my legs because i can not wear skirts and skinny jeans. It makes me feel so ugly.I'm 29 years old now, still have no boyfriend because i think that i am the most ugly person. Every women wears skirts, accept me. Please help me?

Answer
Hi Khusi
I am sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunetly genu valga is a structural condition, there aren't any  exercises that can effectively straighten your knee. I am not qualified to discuss the suggestion of silicone implantation, you are better off to ask an orthapedic surgeon. I would recommend that you consult with your family doctor or an orthapedic surgeon about possible surgerical invterventions or less invasive bracing techniques.

Best of Luck
