Question
I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND I DIDN'T FEEL PAIN UNTIL AFTER EVERYTHING WAS OVER WITH AND I WENT WORK.MY RIGHT ARM,LOWER BACK AND LEGS HURT.DO I NEED TO BE SEE BY A DOCTOR?

Answer
Karen,

If you just had the car crash, like within the last two days, then simply give it another few days.   If you still have pain, then see a doctor.  The best thing you can do is keep a good positive attitude, understand that you're hurt but are healing.  It takes time.  Manual therapy such as massage, mobilization, and manipulation can be helpful.  Adequate rest, some light aerobic exercise such as cycling or cross-trainer, and clean diet also is helpful.  If you are vitamin-D deficient, or if you already do not spend time in the sun, then take vitamin-D at a dose of about 5,000 IU's per day.  That's not a lot.   Be patient.  Injuries from car crashes can be stubborn and take a while to heal.  Exercise is important.  Try some analgesic lotions such as Bio-Freeze or Cryoderm (many chiropractors and PT's carry this).

'Hope this was helpful,
