Question
will a pinched nerve in my neck caused by jamming my neck in a fall cause a pain in both my wrists and shoulders.

Answer
Bill,
This is a yes and no type answer. If in fact you do have pinched nerves in your neck it can give you pain in your wrists hands and even your fingers and especially in your neck. Please get to a chiropractor as soon as you can and have an examination to see if in fact this is the case.

Also during your fall you could have tried to break your fall by grabbing onto something which could have caused a trauma to the wrists, hands, shoulders and or arms. The mechanism of the fall is key.You also may have landed directly or indirectly on the hands/wrist which could have induced these symptoms.

So you see a pinched nerve could be the culprit for the neck pain and the mechanism of the fall could be the reason your wrists and hands hurt.

Remember you are allowed to have more than one thing wrong with you at any given time or with any accident!!!
