Chiropractors/Neck problems

Question
i have had problems with my neck for a number of years. i have been to various chiropractors in the UK and the USA. and some, mostly in America, have been very helpful. But now it seems if i go, the treatment only lasts briefly and then the problems return. Now i don't have full rotation of the neck. When i turn my head there is often, if not always, a "grinding" feeling/sound.It gets stiff very easily and often feels like its on the verge of shifting out of place. i hope i have described this well enough. Someone said it might have been over rotated, in which case is there anything i can do?

Answer
I would check with either a chiropractor or physical therapist.  This seems, from your description and without an exam, like it may be a muscular issue that needs to be addressed.  Therapies such as heat, e-stim, etc, and rehab exercises may be very beneficial to you.
