Chiropractors/clicking in neck after ankle injury

Question
a few days ago a co-worker crushed the back of my ankle and Achilles tendon with a row of 30 carts. i went to the ER and they said there are no broken bones and sent me to a follow up the next day at a workers comp clinic. i mentioned the clicking that had started that morning to him and he said it was weird but did nothing about it. what would possibly cause this? there is a decent amount of swelling, would that agitate the nerves or something? obviously the ankle hurts but im more worried about this clicking because i got a severe headache after being on the foot for 2 hours and it persisted throughout the day but diminished after i got off my feet

Answer
I would suggest you see a good chiropractor.  The clicking may have been from jarring to your body, and caused tension in the upper back/neck area.  A good chiropractor should be able to address this, as well as setting you up in a good rehab program for the ankle.
