Question
Hi,
I initially had knee pain, my GP said i had a small build up of fluid but with rest would disperse. 6 weeks later I have some frontal knee pain, but also severe leg pain & what feels like muscle cramps & on several occasions pain top left thigh and can only describe the pain as like "being touched with live wire"... GP fobbing me off said iam a woman of mystery, pain wearing me down. Help!!

Answer
It sounds as if there is a pinch in one of the nerves running down the leg, whether in the spine, or just below.  I would suggest a good chiropractor; one that also deals with soft tissue.  They should be able to assess and treat this, as well as set you up in a good rehab program to strengthen the area in question
