Chiropractors/plantar faciitis

Question
is there any chiropractic treatments that help alleviate the pain associated with plantar faciitis?

Answer
Yes!  www.grastontechnique.com   Though it is not just chiropractors doing it - it is a treatment that chiropractors (mostly) do.  There is little evidence that manipulation of the foot or ankle bones improve plantar fascitis.  There was one article published years ago that demonstrated changes, but it was a weak study.  Some people respond well to stretching the plantar foot (grab your big toe and pull it and your foot back) several times per day.  Others need a night-splint.   I've had some success but using Graston Technique and with eccentric loading rep's ("negatives") to the foot (e.g. doing a calf raise maneuver in the down phase).   I then employ low level laser to the planter foot, and sometimes put on Kinesio Tape.   Does all this fall under "chiropractic treatment?"    I expect to get positive results within a few weeks of treatment.

'Hope this helps,
