Chiropractors/shoulder injury

Question
Hello. Between December 6-10th I was starting a snowblower standing in front of it, pulled the starter rope letting it back in when the engine jerked the rope & I felt a very sharp pain in my shoulder. Could not lift my arm above shoulder height without extreme pain. went to a chiropractor, he said my tendon had slipped out of place he manipulated it back in & worked on the muscles that had pinched. at first it seemed that it was around 95% better. since then it has regressed even though I have gone back to the Chiropractor & doesn't seem to be getting better. it has now been 5 months & I am concerned about frozen shoulder. what are your thoughts??.

Thank you: Benjamin

Answer
Benjamin,

Get an MRI!   Otherwise everything is guesswork.  If your chiropractor has any reason to believe that there is a labral (cartilage) defect, then do an MRI-Arthrogram.  There is absolutely no other advice that can be offered without first seeing what's going on with MRI.
