Chiropractors/Oblique plane

Question
I am currently busy with my 1st semester, 1st year in exercise science...
I understand the definition of the oblique plane and that a golf swing and tennis serve for e.g. occur in this plane.
Can you give me more examples of everyday movements and interesting sport/dance/exercise movements that take place in this plane, please?
I also want to analyse a movement, break it down into parts and explain in which plane each part takes place and the conclusion must be that the movement as a whole takes place in the oblique plane. How do I do this? How do I describe each part in a way that it makes sense?
I really do not want to use the golf swing as my example, but if you would be so kind to explain to me how to break down the golf swing then I think I will be able to apply it to an interesting movement (like a complicated ballet movement)?
I am really struggling a lot and can't find anything in these South-African libraries.
Thank you VERY much!

Answer
Hello Juanie,

I congratulate you on your quest and education!

While I treat golf INJURY in my office, I would be presumptuous to talk about movement patterns in golf or the oblique plane.  I recommend you stay on the www.AllExperts.com board - and look for an exercise physiologist.  Some websites that may be helpful:

I hope this helps.
I would recommend perusing the kinesiological textbooks and websites for infromation on motion, type of movement, etc.

Good Luck in your pursuit of Good Health Naturally!!
