Question For 2 weeks now I have been getting sudden pains in my left shoulder that feels like someone has just shot me in my shoulder. I don't have to be moving my arm for these to come on. Sometimes when these pains come on the last three fingers on my left hand will go numb, feeling almost like they have went to sleep. Any help you could provide would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.
Answer I would firstly check with your family doctor and make sure there are no heart issues. As long as that is clear, I would suggest you see a good chiropractor. What you describe could be symptoms of nerve impingement, leading to the numbness. A good chiropractor should be able to assess and treat this, as well as set you up in a good rehab program to make it stronger.
