Question my left arm has been going numb for about two yrs now.
the left arm goes numb from time to time
and has a tingling.i often HAVE TO MAKE THE ARM HANG STRAIGHT DOWN WHEN SITTING,SO THAT THE BLOOD CAN FLOW.THE ARM IS VERY WEAK,AND FROM THE ELBOW DAON,HAS THE MOST PAIN.WHAT COULD THIS BE?

I can't give you a diagnosis over the Internet, but as general information, symptoms similar to those you describe could be caused by compression of the bundle of nerves and blood vessels that travel from the neck to the arm. When those nerves and blood vessels are compressed or entrapped, the condition is referred to as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
