Question Hi I starting having chest pain while lifting weights.it began about 7 months ago I first got it in the middle of my chest and then I pulled something in my right pec. Ever since then when I would work my chest out I would get extremely sore and it would take longer for the pain to go away. I have not worked my chest in about 7 months and I have morning stiffness in the chest. I also have pain while just sitting or driving it is mainly in my chest and sometimes feel in my lats, neck, and shoulders. I hope this makes sense to you. I just got medrol and took that for a week and it did nothing please help me with what this could be thank you very much
Answer Kevin,
You could have sprain/strained a rib joint and it has not healed properly. You must find a sports chiropractor who also has soft tissue training (Graston Technique or Active Release Technique) and get your body fixed up. Go to www.acbsp.com to find sports chiro's and www.grastontechnique to find GT providers...basically, get this worked on if you haven't done so. Drugs don't fix these musculoskeletal issues.
