Question
Does the chiropractic code require that chiropractic adjustments/manipulations be a major portion of the treatment rendered by the chiropractor.  If so, please proved the code section.

Thank you.

Gerald Labovitch

Answer
A chiropractors scope of practice starts with chiropractic, which is usually hands on adjusting or manipulation.  Some states limit scope of practice to this; others will allow therapies, and yet others will allow more.  Chiropractic code is usually dictated state to state, with boards overseeing scope of practice.
