Question
About 2 months ago i started doing pilates but stopped when i started getting a stiffness in my neck. At first it was so bad i couldn't move it at all. Now the pain is still there when i look up and also makes a creaking noise especially when i am doing cardio exercises. I did pilates in the past and had no issues so i thought it would be ok to do again to lose some weight after having a baby 6 months ago and i am only 25 years old. What should i do about the pain and creaking noise?

Answer
Congratulations on your path to more total health!!1  The pain and creaking could be from spasm, causing pulling on the spine (without an exam, it is difficult to diagnose).  I would suggest finding a good chiropractor.  They should be able to assess and treat this, so that you Pilates can make you stronger overall.
