Chiropractors/Knee Pain

Question
I hurt my knee by hitting it on a gate while doing situps. My knee swelled up and I tried to ice it for 20 minutes but the pain has not gone away. The pain is located in the bone under my knee. A month before that, the doctor said I had tendonitis so I was worried. Is there anything I can do?

Answer
I would continue with icing; 20 minutes on and 20 off, repeating 4 times.  I would then suggest you find a chiropractor that specializes in sports injuries.  They should be able to assess and treat the injury, and if necessary, refer you to the proper physician should the need arise.
