Question
What is the possible cause of the following symptoms & what type of doctor should I be seeing for these problems:  Ear ache, neck ache, side of face ache, shoulder ache, shoulder stiffness, even the upper arm sometimes where it joins the shoulder, but mainly on the right side.  Keeps me awake often at night.  What can I do?  What do you suggest?  Thank you very much & Happy New Year!

Answer
Debbie,

I would start with a Chiropractor. Most of what you describe is what Chiropractors deal with on a daily basis. Ask the Chiropractor how he/she is going to address the ear pain. This appears to be a situation where the TMJ and or the Trigeminal nerve may be involved.

In addition you more than likely have pinched nerves in your upper back and neck.
