Question
hello,

I am hoping you can help me understand how chiropractic care relieves adhesions, or other "disfunctions" in the connective tissue or fascia. Or does it?
I have been amazed at the results I am getting, but don't fully understand this relationship, and as a massage therapist I would like to.
Thanks!

Answer
The fascia is made up of fibers.  When a force is introduced into it, the fibers can "jumble" and misalign.  When a chiropractor approaches these dysfunctions with the proper treatment, the fibers can be realigned, like ironing a wrinkle out of a shirt, and the disruption corrected.
