Chiropractors/muscle pain

Question
Hi Dr. Gillman

I have been experiencing pain in my right pectoral muscle, but only when I flex it. There is no known trauma, but it started about a month ago. No bruising, or swelling, it’s not getting better or worse. Any Suggestions?

Thankyou
Joe

Answer
If you are relatively young and healthy, with no cardiovascular disease - or if you go to a gym and do a lot of pect' work (e.g. bench press), and if you have no other symptoms of systemic diseae (e.g. lung disease), then simply find a sports chiropractor and get it fixed. It is most likely a rib joint dysfunction.  See: www.acbsp.com
