Question
I have severe pain in my left wrist. As I rotate my arm counter-clockwise something feels as if it is tapped and then releases after abour 2/3's the way round. When this happens the pain run up to my elbow. This happens on the back left hand side of my wrist. This has been bothering me for about a year and ahalf now.I didn't injure it but I think it may have been caused by a vibratig handtool I was using at the time.Your help would be much apprecitated,Thanks

Answer
Nigel,

It seems that you have a bio mechanical problem that is affecting your wrist and the two long bones in your forearm called the Ulna and Radius. I would suggest that you get xrays and a MRI of your wrist to asses what if any damage has ocurred. I would also suggest that you visit a chiropractor as this is a situation that is commonly seen in a Chiropractic office.

I hope this helps and by the way you are more than likely correct in your asumption that the hand tool caused your wrist issues.

Hope this information helps!!
