Question
I went to the chiropractor yesterday and after viewing my xrays he adjusted my neck even though I had no pain there. Pain was in my lower back. Last night I had excruiating pain in my neck area and couldnt sleep even after taking painkillers. Today it is just as bad. On a scale of 1 to 10 the pain is 10.
is it possible I have been injured?

Answer
Jill,

Anything is possible in this senario. Can you tell me some more information concerning your adjustment. Did he/she perform the adjustment manually or with a device. What was your presenting health issues and concerns. What previous treatments have you undergone prior to and after seeingseeing the chiropractor?

At a minimum you should call the chiropractor in question and tell him of your concerns immediately.

Please do not hesitate to re contact me through this venue when you get this information.
