Question
Lately I have been having neck pain. Its been going on now for a couple of weeks. Now its gone away. But last night out of the blue, my back started hurting bad under my shoulder blade. Its hurts so bad when I try to get up, cough, turn around or sneeze. I have not done anything for my back to start hurting. I'm confused! What do you think this could be?

Answer
Without a hands on exam, it is difficult to pinpoint.  But, from what you describe, you could have strain in the muscles of the mid back that also lead up to the neck.  A good chiropractor would be able to diagnose and treat this, as well as set you in a rehab program to strengthen the muscles.
