Dear Dr

Answer
Hello,
Please do not only rely on the internet for medical advise. You should always consult with an MD before you worry, especially about cancer. You may have subluxed your rib, which is very common. It may indeed have shifted which is causing your pain. Yes, a chiropractor can help. You may need some adjustments, and soft tissue therapy and you should start to feel good. After examination, the chiropractor may suggest x-rays to rule out anything mores serious.

Good luck
