Question
Hello, I went about 4 days ago to see a chiropractor because I was having shoulder and Arm pit pain he said there were some things out of line that would cause it so he aline my spin and things in neck.  Well the pain in those areas went away but occasionally I get headaches and nausea and a weird numb like feeling in temple area of head Im not sure if its a numb feeling exactly but its a strange feeling.  I am not sure what to do I am very worried.  have you ever heard of this happening after a visit . I made a Dr appointment with my Dr cause like I said it comes and goes but has been happening since Friday may 6th

Answer
I think you are doing the right thing by visiting your MD. I also think you should get in contact with the chiropractor and let him/her know what you are experiencing. He/she might have ideas as to why you are experiencing those symptoms and may have some suggestions for further treatment. Yes, there are some side effects associated with spinal manipulation. Hopefully these were explained to you. Usually these symptoms are temporary and go away after a few days.
