Question
My son wants to go to a Dr. and doesn't know which kind to go to. The top of his back seems a little hunched. When he lifts weight ( often ) he said he hears crunching noises. What kind of dr would be best for him to see? Thanks  Karen

Answer
Hi Karen,

Well, this is an easy answer:  go to a chiropractor.   He obviously isn't sick, so he does not need a PCP.   He doesn't have anything broken, so an orthopedist is out.   He could do okay with a physical therapist.   But he likely will do best with a chiropractor, especially one that understands weight lifters.   Go to www.acbsp.com and see if there is someone on the list in your area.  See also if you can cross them with these lists:  www.grastontechnique.com and www.westhartfordgroup.com

Good luck,
